Whats the best way to lower the rear on my 400ex for mx racing, w/o buying a new shock, or having my shock bottom out any easier?
Thanx.

If you look in Nac's they have an adjustable rear strut. It's not cheap though

Or a self sagging conversion for your rear shock!

what ever you do dont get a strut and plan on racing MX with it if you were racing TT then yea go for it but not MX cause they have no movement on then at all they are just kinda there the th only other way would be to get a new set of shocks or duracraps lowering kit...

Yeah i just lowered my TT400ex today with durablue struts. Definialty get them if you plan on tt but dont if u plan on mxing. Not to expensive..i got my rear durablue for 60 and the front durablue for 55!!!!

Small tires and some shopcks with alot of sag in them.:D

This will all cost a little money, but way cheaper than shocks. Buy some shorter tires 18's in back and 20's in front, and then get some durablue wheel spacers. That will make your quad more stable. Will be cheaper than the other route, but if you have never had really good shocks before, I will tell you that a set of premium shocks will make a world of difference. Peace.....
