I've thought about trying to build an ipod into a helmet somehow. Have like a pocket on the inside or something, and then attach the speakers to the inside of the helmet close to your ear.

But, I'm not sure that you would be able to hear anything over the engine noise.:ermm:

If you actually do something.....don't cut into anything other then padding.

if you cut into the foam, or whatever it would be called, you could make the helmet useless.

Good point. I was thinking of making a pouch where there is no foam. Most of the helmets I have had, had a gap somewhere in there.

a buddy of mine did that with a snowboard helmet and an ipod shuffle. He took small comouter speakers apart and put those into the ear padding of the helmet and put themesh back on. Everyone that saw thought it was factory.

My Dell Jukebox is the best in my opinion. I got it for 180. That includes an accidental warrenty and a standard warrenty for 1 year. If i drop it in the pool, spill stuff on it, drop it, etc. they'll replace it. If the hard drive messes up (it hasnt) theyll replace it. It holds 2500 songs. Is small but not too small, its just right. Too bad they dont make them anymore
