engine skid

Has anyone made an engine skid plate? I was thinking about fabbing one out of daimond plate (daimonds up) and wondered if anyone had any measurements and stuff, or problems they ran into.

lol i would but i still owe my parents just from when i bought my 450...and if i made this it would be free and i have the use of a full sheetmetal shop (my grandpa) so it wouldnt be that hard just didnt know if anyone had run into trouble and what now...maybe i'll look at a prm and make my own... shhh:p
