i race mx and i was wondering which would be better

LT-R450 or TRX450R

for the money.. the ltr.. after coming up off some mulla the honda :) buy a honda and get nerfs, tires, a-arms, axle, revalved shocks, hrc kit, and exhaust system.. you will be happy

and in the long run you can just say you own a honda..

The Lt-r comes better prepared off the showroom floor for MX racing. For a couple bucks you can race it no problem. On the other hand, in most places the Honda can be had for a bit less and the money saved could go towards making a start with getting your bike how you want it in the first place. Up to which one you like and feel most comfortable on, really. Don't let someone else make your decision.
