sound comparison between z400 and 400ex

i got a full hindle exahust system on my 400ex and my buddie has a dg pipe on his but his sounds nicer. it may soundstupid but his has like more of a pop. is there any way to make my 400 sound nicer? if not im getting a z400 cause i want reverse and i like the sound....

just get a different exhaust! It would be a waste of $ to just get a z400, for the sounds of them when they are piped, or for any other reason. You already have a 400ex, u would hate yourself if u went and bought another 400, when in the long run u could get a 450... I like z400's but not enogh to where i'd go and sell my 400ex and but a z400 for sound or looks. pointless imo.:ermm:

Oh and BTW ur quad doesn't sound that much different from jimmys quad basically the same but imo urs sounded nicer bc it didn't have that annoying ear piercing noise to it.. It also sounds more 4-stroke throaty and deeper sounding.:macho

I would get the Z. They are both great machines.

I guess just ask yourself this question.

Is Sounds and reverse important enough to you to buy one?
