hi guys...

just thinking about some new tires, and this came to my mind...
i just read info on radial tires and bias tires and plys..
as i know plys are the reinforcement in the tire 2, 4 & 6 plys are the ones that are used in atv tires... and this i understand that this tires are radial.

now, the new trac star tires from itp are radial, and any holeshot tires are also radial? or what is their denomination? are they bias? and what is the difference in holeshots and the trac stars?

i just mention these tires because is the ones i know, could be kendas or maxxis..

Depends on the terrain you'll be on. These things have actually been around for ages. Grooved radials up front and Turf Tamers in back used the be "THE" setup. Used for hardpack mostly though. Great front tire in my opinion.

i kinda undestand.. i read this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radial_tire an then the link at the bottom, now this is ok, but then atv tires ride at very low psi,

is there an advantage to use radial tires?

I just put a set on and love them. They actually work OK in softer terrain, not as bad as I thought they would be, but hard terrain is definitely where they shine
