ok here is the deal i got the yellow hmf and i need to change the color and want to polish it....wat do i need to do sand the paint off or wat?

It's powdercoated I think, you could sand it off, im sure there are other ways. Pappy would know.

acetone works if it's paint, but like 400exr1d3rz said it's probably powdercoated so you'll probably have to sand blast it.

no if it is painted and you want it polished you have to start with 220 grit sand paper then work your why up to 330 then to 400 then to 600. it will take about 2-4 hours depending how well you want it done and how determind/ strength you have.:D

Trade your pipe for a nother one. It's going to take a lot of work to get that powder coating off.

almost...if your polishing you'd wanna go from the lower grit to the higher grit...

yeah i had that backwards. and it wont scrap if you take your time and be patiant, it all pays off in the end.

higher grit as in like 800 grit has more particles for squaree inch or something to that affect....all i know is higher grit means smoother
