new fenders

[Fender Bender]

i just got new maier fenders for my 250r, there the factory ones and there a different color than my stock red hood, (my fenders are more red, and makes the hood look orange).

but my question is are they supposed to have a support wire on the bottom of the bak fenders, and on the front fenders? thanks..
