Honda says this about the 07:
* New Reverse sytem actuation for easier operation.
* All-new TRX(TM)450R-inspired bodywork.
* Revised ergonomics provide more comfort and control.

I think it looks much better then the older models, at least the big spotlight looking headlight is off the handlebars.. now that was ugly, and all of suzuki's sport atv's look the same so I dont see the big deal.. :scary:

i think just about all 300ex's are not attractive looking. Very few make the cut.
I think what honda is doing is great opening something up for evert class.
I would much rather have this over the new school warrior (Raptor 350)
looks bad, i dont even like how the new 400ex looks, and the 450....honda is trying to be like yamaha and make every quad have the same look...

As I said in the other thread about this, I don't care for the new plastics. I liked how the old ones looked better. I don't like the new style headlight, it looks goofy to me. I think if honda was going to change something on the 300ex, they should have looked into the motor before the plastics.

I like how the older 300ex, and 400ex's looker. Personaly I don't like how all the quads are starting to look the same. It makes them less uneque. But it is good that they changed that reverse. Having owned a 300ex for 4 years, thats one thing I'm happy to see changed.

personally i like the older 400ex plastics and the 300 needed an update but not like that front fenders are huge and the back fenders look really flimsy
300ex looks like a 450r that got barfed on to the lap of a pure trail rider
250ex i think it was a resonable update but come on something different wouldnt hurt(for plastics)
400ex should have made the fenders look more race inspiered with a more resonable headlight removal(rather than making it look like you punched the light out of the plastics)
450r/er leave it other than the occasional frame/motor/suspension update
just my 2 cents:D

Thats a part of marketing. Notice how all mercedes have similar lines, grills, headlights, tailights, etc. Same goes for bmw, porshe. and just about any brand.
Same thing goes for food products, tv's everything. Everyone does it.

It's a smart move on Honda's part. You need to think of the target demographic.
12-14 year olds that wish they could have a 450R because they look cool, can get on that style of quad and be very happy.
The 300EX isn't the fastest thing out of the box but, it is damn reliable and is more than capable to handle what most 12-14 yr olds throw at it.
I don't foresee Honda's sales dropping because a few adults don't like the intrusion into the 450R styling concepts.
