who knows about photoshop??..need some help

i'm trying to change my frame color with photoshop but i can't remember exactly what layers to use and what to do with them...can someone that knows explain?

I always just cut the frame out with the Magnet laso thing. Then after I cut it out I would just paint over it with a translucent type color

Make a path around it and then change the fill color of it.......or use curves to change the color.......if I had Photoslop in front of me I could tell you more ways....since I use it at work almost everyday

ok i get the picture up, then i get a layer and paint the frame there and then you do another layer or somethign...i cna' tremember...then you use the hue/saturation to change the colors on the frame or what ever.

help..lol
