hey guys, ive been looking at buying different a arms and shocks and i dont know what i should go with, long travel a arms and buy new shocks or go with regular travel and get my shocks rebuilt. i was reading in a quad mag where they tested a LTR, YFZ and 450r, and they had the front shocks rebuilt, revalved and resprung by noleen with +2 regular travel a arms and they said that these shocks felt better than some long travel set ups. so should i spend the extra money and go with long travel a arms and different suspension or go with regular travel with stock shock rebuilds and save some money. thanks

see it just matters about your wieght because my shocks on my 2006 450ER are kinda soft because I think it matters how much you wieght because i wieght 225 and its perfect right now without alot of stiffness when going over bumps or jumping so yea if i where you I would go with new shocks then go with a-arms

i agree that if your gonna run mx then you won't regret spending the cash. and if you go with the right products you won't spend anymore cash maybe 100 more then st. look into smc fabrication a arms they are only 575 brand new. Lifetime warranty and I have never seen one fail other then hitting a huge rock with one in third gear (my buddy did this).
