Anyone who was at this race will atest to the incredible fog we had to contend with, so with that said, there were not alot of photo's.

Walker Fowler had wrapped up the Youth championship, but other riders were eager to see if they could capitalize on Yadkinville's tight and twisting course. The morning dew had the track plenty slick and a few mudholes soon covered the riders in thick clay.

We were in attendence to ride, race and review Kymco's 90 cc mini quad, but through a miscommunication, we were handed one that had seen better days as a mini race quad. I admit, I was truly disappointed as was Cody, but we did not drive 5 hours to watch so Cody geared up and headed to the line.

Cody was facing a long hour on a quad that did not like anything past 1/2 throttle:p

Racer Productions extended the Youth race by 15 minutes this round giving the young racers a full hour of treebashing!

The fog was wreaking havoc on me as I struggled to get photo's of the action. The riders hit the woods shrouded in the ghost like air....some said it was pretty cool:D

I moved over towards the scoring area and almost missed Walker as he came blasting out of the fog and back into the woods.

Walker took some of the fog away I believe as he went past me allowing for a brief break in the fog. I could hear the kids, but seeing them was another issue:p

Cheyne Gravely currently sits in thrid in points. I am not sure what you parents are feeding these kids but I think it will soon be time to press Racer productions into a 200cc-300cc Youth class.

I am uncertain as to what happen to Colin Dunn, I spotted him skirting the field section and appeared to be done racing for the day on his Xtreme.

Cody finally came riding around (notice he is sitting upright with the throttle pinned:p )

He was not going to quit as we have never DNF'd a race at the Nationals. He lost his chain, the bike cut off a zillion times (a HUGE thanks to all the parents and spectators who helped him kick it to life. His foot has a terrible bruise from kicking it)

This was not the finish he was looking for, and seeing that fuel prices have dropped, expect to see him at the next round to redeem himself on one of my quads.

With bad picture taking conditions, I took notice of alot of the quads whizing by. There are some really nice machines in the series now!

After shutting off during a slight altercation with a pole, this riders helping hands get him to the scoring tent to complete the lap.

I just know he was thinking of jumping on and having them "help" him finish just one more lap:p

The results are posted in the first post of this thread. I had a good time seeing all the old crew, and meeting several new faces. I apologize for the small amount of photo's, but the fog combined with Cody taking a beating had me preoccupied...just a wee bit;)

I hope to see everyone at Powerline Park

200-300cc Youth production in the GNCC Series for 2007
I was asked by several people this weekend to get an email campaign started to have a 200cc-300cc 13-15 Youth Production Class included in the series for 2007.

If you would be so kind to take a few minutes to send an email requesting this class we would appreciate it.

Please send the email to carrie@racerxill.com

Thank you in advance
