IM trying to put my baldwin Hs cable in but I dont see any way to get the old one out. I realize the nut has to come off the old one on the carb and it pulls out but I cant get the nut off. I cant even come close to getting a wrench around the nut. Theres not enough clearance between the carb and the nut. No way am I pulling the carb. Anyone have suggestions

That plastic nut can be practically loosened by your fingers. Just use a wrench it comes right off. MAke sure not to over tighten it., because it cost $20 for the plastic nut. Tighten it just barely snug.

Take your tank off and it's right there. All you need is a 14mm wrench. Lube the hotstart plunger before reinstalling it, they are known to seize.
