Supertrapp IDS anyone have one?

i kust bought a 300ex about two days ago and right now it is all stock. i want to build a little bit of power but im still set on keeping it reliable so i only plan to do a pipe and some other minor mods but im not going into the motor. i was looking at the Supertrapp pipe, they look good and i like the fact that they can be tuned to be quiet, i need a quiet pipe. anyone run one of these and if you have how good are they?

There's one member on here with one SJorge300ex. He says it's good, if it was my choice, I wouldn't get it. I haven't heard much about it and I wouldn't want to spend 200+ dollars on a peice of junk. I think you should get a Curtis Sparks x4, their rather loud but they come with quiet cores now. And also Supertrapp makes a disc styled end to quiet it down.

i would get the sparks but sound is a big issue around hear now so i need something quiet. i have hear sparks before but they are pretty loud and i dont think a quiet core on them is going to much a big enough differance. i found the Supertrapp for 250 complete i didnt think that was too bad at all.

With the supertrapp endcap they can be really really quiet.

if you want real quiet, there are a few choices. 1 is the pro circut type 496 and the other is a white brothers E2. both are 96 db pipes. i had the E2 on my predator and it gave noticeable power, and was very quiet

i belive hmf makes a quit series pipes too.

if your looking for quite, stay away from the Race Core IDS-2. I have it and its pretty loud (louder than the Sparks,HMF,Yoshi), I have heard that the quite core is pretty quite. Hell, if you can get the pipe for 250 get it. I consider it a very good pipe, but if I had to do it all over again, I may consider a sparks, just too see how it compares.
