I have a 2005 spec. edition and I charged the battery for the season I wen't to the desert I had it running i even turned it off a few times after a while the battery was dead again I had to push start it all afernoon any ideas?

I've heard YFZ batteries last about a year, I'm on my second on my 04. I bought a cheapy battery I think it was like $30, I've had it almost a year, so far, so good.

A lot of guys leave the their batteries hooked up to one of those little trickle chargers can't think of the brand name, they advertise in dirt wheels.

yeah i think you just need a new battery man, hate to say it but sounds like you do, not to expensive tho, your talkin like 80.00 bucks from rockymountainatv.com for their best one

The dealer to me to ride with the head lights ON because the charging system wont charge the battry unless there is a load on it... just something to think about after the new battry is installed...

I did have the lights on I think it needs a new battery...:D

replace the stock with a cbr600 streetbike battery....better battery, more power....:D
