put the correct plug back in (NGJ- DR8ES-L) Then take the carb off and undo the the 17mm nut on the bottom, then take a screw driver and remove that stock 122 main jet and replace it with a 125. IF that doesnt work then you need to adjust your needle.

I think if you ever get a 330 you need to go all out to get all the power you can. Gearing stock w/ 22in tires is 13/38. Since you trail ride and want wheelie power, I would go back to stock gearing or put a 12 toother on the front. You'll have all kinds of lowend power for trail riding and wheelies.

Bigger sprocket in front for topend, smaller for lowend.
Smaller sprocket in rear for topend, bigger for lowend.

Oh yea if you wanna save some money I would get your sprockets & chains from rocky mountain atv. Primary drive makes good sprockets and chains for a 300ex. No need and spending that much money for renthal sprockets.

You can get stock size front sprocket, O-ring chain, rear sprocket for 52.99 + 7 dollars shipping cost. Its 76 bucks for just the rear sprocket & front renthal. Not including the chain. Depends on what you want.

im sorry my gearing is stock 13/38 so should i still go 12 tooth in the front and keep the back the same or go change it to bigger or smaller . this will still give me plenty of torque right
thanks

Going down 1 tooth up front is like 2 or 3 more teeth on the rear sprocket. With 22in tires I would go with a 12tooth sprocket up front if your not worried about losing alil topend speed. Do you want more power for wheeling and trail riding?? A 12tooth front will give you more lowend torque, and still plenty of topend with 22in boggers. j/k about the boggers.

There isn't nothing wrong with them xct. Thats just what I call 22in tires. My buddy runs 22in paddle sand tires when he mud bogs, and thats why we call them boggers for mud.

:eek2: ...that is way too lean. i am running a 130 with 4 1in holes in tha lid and a slip on. mine is running slightly lean still. if u shelve the lid or mod it to increase flow then u will need a 130 or larger. u r running a full system and the reaguires more fuel compensation than a slip on. other wise i would go with a 128. the 125 is just too lean

he said that the plug looks good now, so I was just recommending going up on the jet. No everyone will have the same mods. jetting depends on everything.
