i just put a 14 tooth front sprocket on my 300 . it helped alot for top end. but i haven't put the 18" back on and took it to the track yet.

if you ride at a track that is spaced out a lot, you will want to buy a 36t rear sprocket too, but that set-up(14-38) is okay for tighter tracks, while the 13-36 is a little better.

i have a 03'yellow300ex and im thinking of buying a wb pipe for it. i only have a K&N filter and precharger for it right now. but idk what else i want to get for it. how can i make it as fast as a 400ex

If you get a 330 stroker it would keep up with a stock 400 but there not very reliable. You could do a 350X conversion and port and polish it. That would also keep up with a stock 400.

400ex has much more power than the old 350x which had like 20hp I beleive. Handling wise it will still behind, I say if its possible and you think you might move up to a 400ex a few years from now is to just stop modding and put that money towards a down payment on a new 400ex or another high perf quad.
