Im going to change my jet and was wondering if thats all I need to change. I mean, is the only thing I need to change is the main jet? What about the pilot jet and screw, do they need to be adjusted? What about the jet needle, do I need to adjust it too. Thanks for any help.

It depends on the mods your doing. Why are you changing the jet now?

Well i got a slip on ids2 exhaust and im about to add a k&n filter with the outwear and run with no lid on my airbox, so I was going to re-jet it.

rejet it, then check the plug to see if it's right. You probably won't have to change the float level or the pilot jet, you could change the pilot jet but not necessary.

you will prob. need to go ...down? one on your needle clip and up 1 or 2 main jets just go get like 4 or 5 of them from your dealer and the way you will have them if you need to change them some other time and u wont have to go get more...

What does the needle clip change? Like mid rpms??? What size jet do you think I should run with all those mods I said above? Im am 3195ft above sea level. Thanks for the replys!

from what ever your running now go get the next 4 up. put the next size up in and if its tunning lean go up again u just got to play around with it a little it took me about 45 min to get my jetting right when i got my pipe and filter yea the needle does 1/2 to 1/4 if im not mistaken which i could be but i think that is right

Its running stock jetting now. How can I tell if its running lean. Sorry if thats a dumb question But im kinda a newbie sorry. Right now, if im going and then I let off of the gas it kinda backfires or pops as im slowing down. Does that mean Im running lean? Thanks for the help man.

you got it also your spark plug will be light it should be sort of a light brown or med. gray color
