I have a question how do you guys adjust your shift levers on the 300ex for your boots... I went to ride and found out my lever needs to go up but on the 300 if you move it from the stock location it hits the case so do you guys get aftermarket ones that are bent out? or do you bend the stock ones out cause it would need to go about half a inch to clear the case...
If you bend them how do you do it? do you heat it first or what thanks if anyone can answer this

Grab it and pull it and then un bolt it and move it to were you want, its that easy. I dont think theres any aftermarket shifters for the 300ex.

ha ha yeah I'm going to move the side of the motor case:eek2:
I noticed on my buddys 400ex the case is made with the case pushed back where the lever goes. so you dont have to worry about it hitting.

I used an MSR YZ250F shifter on mine, works pretty good.
