What are everyones thoughts on these shocks for a 450r? I just ordered some and also some Walsh A arms to go with them..
Whats the difference between the 8 Click rezzies and the normal pep rezzies.. ?
Thanks, Jay

I to woudl also like to know this, because I just bought the exact same setup...waiting for UPS woman to show up! Are the 8 click bottles the same as the Arc setup, or what?

8 Clicks have larger resi's and for each click more is felt vs. a ltd. mass set up which has like 20 or so clicks. ARC stands for Adjustable Rebound and Compression, so not the same unless you ordered both adjustments. I had a set on mine for a week and loved them, valving feels incredible. You won't be disappointed.
Jay you go through shocks quicker than I do women. ;) Floats didnt work out for ya?

I know I know.... I'm the shock king!!! :p Just kidding, but no i just wanted to try this setup out. I've always wanted to go out and try some Walsh arms and never had the chance and now that i have the money i'm decided to splurge and buy them.
I figured what better than to try out the PEP 8 Clicks as well, since alot of people who run walsh run PEP.
Oh and man I love the Evols and are going to keep them for sure, its just that i decided to buy myself this front end to try out.
So now these are the front ends i have in my garage..
Herrmann +2 Lt arms
JD Performance +2 Lt arms
Walsh +3 Lt arms
Fox Float X Evols
PEP 8 Click Big Bottles
( and just a two weeks ago i sold a set of Custom Axis Fronts and also a pair of Elka LT fronts.)

Oh yea I hear ya. I had always wanted to try a set so I did, they felt damn good. I have my eye set on these though haha, but the price ehhhh is kinda keeping me leary. Well if you ever want to trade that walsh/pep set up for a JB Axis Ti set up let me know lol.
Ahh don't feel bad. It happens!

As for the plastics on the yfz, they are actually maier. I cut the fronts two weeks ago and think they came out very well..

Do you reckon its worth geting a dual rate rear or just sticking with a single rate on a no link rear end?

no such thing as a no-link for a 450r.. for stock travel rear ends its either a dual rate on a stock linkage or a single rate on a baldwin TYPE linkage.. jb/walsh/lsr i think all requier longer rear shocks.

For sure needs to be a dual rate with a no link rear. For a CRF based no link, Im guessing around a 19" shock, and needs to be a no link dual rate.
