86- 89 I dont think it fits a 85 that was still a 3 wheeler year probally different

Do you have an aftermarket carrier already ? If not, most billet brake stays wont fit a stock carrier. The inside hole diameter is larger for your aftermarket carriers.

yeah stock but I'm thinking of upgrading to a billet one soon so if it wont work then i'll just save it for when I get a better carrier. thanx for the heads up.

Im pretty sure just the tapered bearing carriers have the larger opening for the stay all the billet twin row carriers Ive had used a stock or a billet one the one I sold you was a replacement for a stock stay I had they both fit on a aftermarket billet twin row carrier.
