xr600r motor in 400ex

Does any body know for sure if a xr600r motor will fit in a 400ex chassis? I am wanting to build a play bike for goofing off.

it is tall and requires some frame mods up by the gas tank, but it can be done. soemone on here did it a couple of months ago

i think this is a xr650. it has dual rear suspension. its pretty nuts looking.
