How can I tell what size main jet is in my carb? Is the number on the needlle or what? What is the stock size? I bought my quad and it already had a slip on exhaust but I dont know if the guy put a new jet in it or not? Thanks for an help!

The number is stamped on the main jet. you have to pull the float bowl off to check it.

Stock is 148 and you DO NOT have to take the float bowl off to change a jet. There is a 17mm bolt in the bottom of the bowl. Just take that off then use a deep well 6mm (6 point) socket and take the jet out. I can post a pic if you need one.
