air scoops

what do air scoops actually do 4 your quaD? help keep the motor cool? And any gain on hp throttle response or anything? worth the money thanxs

there mainly for looks and stickers and stuff they may bring in alittle air but its not much.

i heard they can lower temps by up to 10 degrees

i dont notice a decrease in temp at all.

I couldnt tell eather but then again i never tested the temp before and after.
They probably work ok at high speeds.

everybody i have talked to say that they help alot. i guess it depends on the way they r made. i am going to get a set when i have the money

In the open air (at speed) they do help... at least, mine sure do. But if I'm going slow and navagating those really tight trails, they don't do much of anything.

sounds like there were meant for the "baja" races where your running a pretty good speed nearly all of the time.....

It directs air to your engine, as the other people said, good for high speeds.
