Labor Day at BPG...Ernesto came but couldnt stop us!

Well, the weather man was about 8 hours off on when trpoical depression "Ernesto" would hit the area and move on. Saturday morning found alot of riders waiting for clear skies and tracks that were wet and un ridable.

Riders took to the tracks saturday evening as the sun made an appearance and folks just were not going to sit around any more:D

The upper track by the barn was going to get a workout

Riders had a few muddy spots to deal with but the tracks came together pretty quick

Mxjunkie made the trip and took to the track all squeeky clean

Josh had a lower shock mount break off his a arm cutting his weekend short. His was teh first of 2 banshees that got hammered at BPG this weekend:p

Thankfully he found the broken mount before it caused a big wreck

The tracks started to dry up as the evening wore on

Quads were helping get the track in shape as they started whipping the mud into a nice packed and tacky track

By late afternoon, roost, not mud, was flying:D

I dont even remember what i was doing or how I got to the track to take these shots. I know the Brute force was still puking water and was out of commison but I swear I dont remeber walking up there:p

Cody loves to ride with Zach and they knew they would be racing each other that night so it was alot of fun watching them both rail the tracks

Hey Pappy, how old is Cody? If he's old enough, you really outta bring him out to High Point or Steel City for an upcoming race and see how he does in the Youth Production class. There are some very good local riders in that class, but he seems to have an mx track pretty well figured out...I bet he'd do pretty good.

Matt is a BPG regular and is head starter of the pitbike races. He just became a dad for the second time so he will now have 2 kids tagging along. Lets hope they like quads:D

A scary accident occured sunday, when a CR85 wrecked and was struck by a 450r and then another bike as he laid in the track. It happened so fast that noone had a chance to do anything when the cr85 rider went down as the quad and other bike were already in the air.

Thankfully, Tyler was ok and after a visit to the ER he was sent back to the track and continued his weekend fun!

While the track was closed so EMS could get the rider in the ambulance, "Champ" sat patiently by keeping tabs on everyone.

The bikes shocked alot of the spectators as they had never seen a bike go so fast through so deep of mud. The fastest lap was posted by a bike at 29 seconds!

Thanks alot :) I like to goof off every once and a while and do a little frestyle...its all about having fun....i had a great weekend cant say it enough......as for the case pappy it didnt hold up so good it was in a very odd spot and the jb weld was taking a long time to dry. He was able to ride a little bit today tho

With the bad weather scarying off most of the sissy pitbike racers, a decision had to be made.

The rented lights were in place....who would be willing to race 450's on the pitbike track:eek:

My bro(*Silver YFZ) ended up dead last off the start but battled and took the win in his heat

we had a great time, me and nick110. pappy i cant wait till u post some pics of ant and nick throwin down late sunday. i got about 40 minutes worth of tape, im just gonna throw some music to it and put it up. i tried to get everyone quad rider and good bike rider i saw, i also got some of the pit bike racing as well.

after the 2nd lap was completed, a banzia charge over a double netted KH426 the lead and he held it to take the over all win:D

2nd moto in the 300 class had a 3rd entry . the rider was allowed to use his 440 due to his z250 not starting.

Cody and Zach were not going to be beat by a 440:eek:

Hard charge to the first turn netted Zach with the holeshot, Cody to the inside for 2nd and Steve bring it in to the 3rd spot

Cody and Zach put on a good show, pulling 3/4 a lap on the 440:devil:

This is the unfortunate rider who hit Tyler when he went down. Everyone who witnessed the event said he did everything possible to avoid it but I know he felt terrible afterwards. next to the injured rider, he had to be relieved to hear that Tyler was fine and that the needles hurt more then the accident!

i got all the different quad racing sunday night, dan working on the tracks monday, max #777 casing the uphill table 5 times and a bunch of my little brother and the burke bros. along with some time on the uper track.

hope you enjoy its 14 mins long so be prepared to let it load, the pit bike racing ends around 10 mins, and monday riding begins right after that.

another great weekend at breezewood, great riding, great tracks and as usual great people to hang out with, can't wait till fall fest to go back. Pappy you are the man with that camera
the kids really appreciate the photo time you give them, all I hear is pappy seen me do this and pappy got a picture of me doing that! see you guys soon

Pappy I just got back from walmart............

............they didn't have any cameras that looked like yours for $40. The closest thing they had was a rifle in sporting goods with a huge scope, but even that was a couple hundred.


Everybody missed you this past weekend, just alot more fun riding when theres a camera man around. Hope CJ had a good time racing in NC??

It sucked for CJ. There was some miscommunication and he got stuck racing a turd. He was highly pissed off as was i, you dont put a rider capable of being a front runner on something that shouldnt have come off the trailer:ermm: Lesson learned.

We have to shoot a wedding saturday, then race oakland on sunday so it will be one more weekend away from our home away from home:p
