i was wondering befor i oder some neon lights for a 250r if i be able to run them with overloadin my stator cause no batter itrs a 1986 trx 250r i was wondering just tie the wires in with the lights but all i have is 100wats total for my stator to give out so i dont wanna burn it out itds a stock stator well not the same one but ya knwo what i mean i just need ot knwo if it will over load them would it be aa good idea to hook a battery up some place to run them? and hwo woudl i be able ot run them its just 1 or 2 at the most small bulbs like almsot a bit bigger than christmass minni lights maybe liek doualbe that size of them please help:confused:

i just got some neons for the blaster and it has no battery, i am just going to wire it into the light, it should work

yeah it will work i did it on my 250ex, just splice the wire into the tail light wire and it will come on when ever you turn on the head lights

but what s kind of neons did ya get will it over load your stator?

just some cheap ones from wal mart, and cut the wire and splice them

i ordered radlites i found them in the links section they use barely any battery/juice to run so u wont over load your stator by using them u can use like 10 of them with no prob look at sparky's post about his blue radlight for a pic

This might be late but here goes on a stock 250r ther is no battery so it stator puts out AC current. ON a quad that has a battery it runs DC current just a car or truck so u need to check to see what kind of current your neon uses. I found out the hard way I tried to put true HID lights on my buddy 250r and banshee and learn fast. Ricky Stator has a battery kit for the banshee it works on the 250r u just have to build a bracket for the battery. Done this let me knwo if u want to see a pict. Then u just have to change one wire on the stator. The man to ask is Ricky Stator email him or call him great guy.
