i have a 99 440ex with lots of mods i have the stock clutches with heavy duty springs and they slip i can feel it what should i do?

could be something as simple as the cable not adjusted properly. your springs may be no good also. when i did my 416 i installed heavy clutch springs with a new stock clutch after a couple of months it started slipping....the heavy springs were no good they had compressed. my solution to that problem was a gt thunder 8 disc and hinson basket...no more problem pulls hard...me like

i would replace the springs, and make sure everything is adjusted properly. if all else fails, replace it all with a complete hinson set up. that will solve all ur probs

my first question would be what kind of oil are you running? somtime that is anough to make them slip.

i run the honda gn4 oil it's what they give me at the dealer
