450R Exhaust loudness

Here is the deal... I am moving to my Dads in South Dakota. I am 21 years old. He has a 2006 Honda Goldwing and wants me to get a motorcycle to rid with him. But I want an ATV instead, THE 450R!

But heres teh thing! In South Dakota, you can drive ATV's on teh street just like Motorcycle's, Cars, Trucks! Sweet huh! So I want to get an aftermarket pipe, but it cant be loud, as I will be driving on teh streets and i get there is a noise ordinance.....


Also, what would you guys recommend for street tires and rims? The stock tires will go bald in no time!

hey man call joe at rossier and get the supertrapp endcap with it. It will meet the 96 db rating and still make crazy power. You actually gain a hp on top end with this setup. I have seen it on a dyno.

Yosh with a quiet insert or FMF Q2 are supposed to be 93db.

id say your best bet is the hmf qiuet race series and i think hoosier flat track tires and stock rims sould be alright and id gear up a bit to get more top end

Look at quiet series pipes, choose your own.:D And flat track or TT tires would work best for the street. If you can get radials even better.
