carb prob

My '05 400Ex chokes down when I take the choke off. I runs fine in half choke but dies when off. It has low hours and I keep pretty good care of it. Its only 6 months old. Can someone help. Thanx

explain what you mean by chokes down, you mean it dies down or bogs down? try turning up the idle i little bit.

That means you have a fuel delivery problem.

Has it been sitting for a while?

Will it run if you stay on the gas and let the choke off?

I would take the carb off and see if the pilot jet is clogged or if you have something in where the air/fuel screw goes.
