Hi, I just put a Keihn (sp?) Powerjet carb off of a 98 CR250 and WOW!!! what a difference. I had a Mikuni 38mm on it before and it really kept missing up top and had ZERO low to mid range.

I am upgrading to a complete 98 CR250 wiring and ignition system since I already have the ESR adapter plate. Will this make it work even better? I haven't hooked up the electrics to the carb yet but it works great as it sit now.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to know how the complete 1998 CR250 setup runs as well. I have a 2001 CR250 ignition and 38 PWK carb on my R, but always wondered if the powerjet set up would work even better.

I thought the power jet was electronic?

it is electronic I have the 98 set up ignition and carb and it works great. the cr has a really light flywheel which lets it rev alot faster and it has great snap off the get go..

What do you need to lok for to get the powerjet carb setup?
OEM carb or a aftercarb for a cr250?

Thanks

What are the electronics for on the Powerjet?

I just bought a carb off of a stock 98 CR250 and then got all the electronics to go with it. I already have the ESR adapter plate so it should be a simple bolt on, but only if you have the adapter I believe.
