Engine dies

Just bought this quad about a month and a half ago brand new left over 2005 and just finished doing my first oil change. I used the recommended G4 Honda motor oil. Anyway, when I go to take off now I have to keep the clutch in or the motor dies. If I get going at a slow but steady speed it dies if I let out all the way, but I am going plenty fast enough. Also, when im going it sounds like the valves are making more noise than usual. The little oil window shows that I have plenty. Is it an air flow carb issue? Or maybe a fuel issue? Thanks CJ

sounds to me like you may need to adjust your valves if they are making noise.but i could be wrong im sure youll get plenty of answers on here good luck

Yeah I thought that could possibly be it.....but it only has about 15 hours on it? Would it cause the engine to cut out like that? Thanks for the quick reply though.
