raptor problem :( HELP PLEASE carb problemi think ahh

i have a 03 raptor lim ed and i went to start it and i heard a popping noise i looked down and saw the carb was popped off the air box and i checked my oil and theres gas in the oil i called the local yamaha dealer and they said ur carb hose came off and u we getting to much air and ur float in the carb as sticking because of it so just change ur oil and put the hose back on and run it for 2 minutes and then change ur oil again to make sur eno gas is in ur oil or i could spin the main bearing i need help badly

yeah that sounds corect, just drain the oil AND filter emidiately, then run it untill it is warmed up then change oil again before riding. make sure to use correct API rated oil.
