Just Got New Old Stock 05 450R

hello all...

just wanted to introduce myself. yesterday, i traded in my 05 Blaster on an 05 450R. it was on a whim really, but i love hondas & the price was right, so i figured what the hell. when i sat & thought about all the stuff i wanted to do to my blaster, it was coming out to be about 1/2 of what the 450R cost me. the only thing i really plan on doing is getting the hrc kit & a slip on, & that's really it. i dont plan on racing & my friends & i ride mostly plaster city & ocotillo here in southern california. just wanted more power & comfort than the blaster could deliver, & I think I did ok. i searched all over the web for a good forum, & upon reading some of your posts, it looks like i found it. anyway, i'm sure i'll be asking lots of questions in the future, so I just wanted to say hello...

did you trade it in straight or did you give cash also?

after wheeling & dealing, they gave me like 1800 for my blaster ( but it was hooked up, so i took it in the *** a little bit ), but yeah, no cash out of pocket, $4120 for the 05 450r plus 4 year warranty. Little more than I wanted to spend, but so be it, i'm happy, & I have the quad that I wont grow out of & keep a long time.

Ah bro, that was with a trade of my blaster. I took it in the *** a little on the trade, but so be it. I was pretty happy with the deal. I live in Oceanside, but my band plays in LA all the time. Playing BB Kings in Universal City Walk on Sunday. Come on out...
