z400, and 400ex races...

Are there any old videos back when there was only the pros racing the z400, and 400ex in MX and XC races? If you know a link to some can plaese post it, i want to see how they competed on their 400's compared to the 450's now.

I don't think any pro mx racers raced a 400ex. Gust and Farr were first to race the z400 in that pro production classs when it first came out then not much longer the yfz came out so everyone went to that. Team suzuki was racing z400's last year

yeah gust and farr ran the z400's. you can check out farr in one of the huevos movies on his z400. but the motors werent stock so it was basically a 450 anyway. and coryatver is right, they used the z400s all the way up until this year when they switched over to the ltr's.

the only pro i think to use a 400ex was Doug Eichner (it had a 440 kit)
