i have an 2005 TRX 500 Honda Foreman. It ran great until i noticed on ride that the carb kind of had a slight bog when i pinned the throttle, then let off. then pinned it again. It was a little minor but i had decided to take the carb apart and clean it. i took all the jets out and used compressed air to clear passage ways. However, i did not take out the pilot screw because i did not have the proper tool to take it out. My quad will idle fine, but as soon as I give some gas it boggs right out and gets really smokey. Could i have problems with the pilot? Everything else seems clear., Please help its the long weekend and it just rained all night!!

its flooding... its either the pilot screw or your choke is stuck on.
i just bought my 87 250x and when i opened it up, the air was catching the choke lever and it was loose, so it was coming on and doing the same thing.. i thought i got ripped off, but it was just the choke, zip tie-d it off and now its good.
