Isn't there a place that will build you a new aftermarket stem using your factory bottom? I have a JRD stem and JRD won't have any for a while. So does anyone know of that place?

The purpose of it for me would be it being cheaper (hopefully), and I can use my same JRD Steering stem bottom so that I wont go screwing with different steering configurations.

i've never heard of that.unless u mean like on a yammi if the steering stem plate for the inner tye rods.

yes. you can go to a welding/fab shop and have a new tube welded to your bottom piece or vise versa....
