What is a good tire pressure to ride in the snow?

im not sure but i use a bit more for clearence and float

for normal riding i run 6 in the front-22 inch tires, and 5 in the rear-20 inch tires. for the snow i take a little bit out, maybe a pound or two. dont take too much out though because you run a chance of bending a rim then. taking air out seems to give me a little more traction when needed.

o ok thnx, but 5 seems a little much for regualr riding , 4.5 is prolly perfect it also prolongs tire wear..

if u have a little exta money got get some 4-snow tires. my friend got a pair last winter and they were amazing!!!!!:eek2: im going to order a pair for myself.

I had those on my 250 last year they are awseome i defiantely recommend them to anyone!

i ride on the trails with my snowmobile for a few days then my quad will ride right on top without falling though
its like riding on dirt :blah:

yup that works good too. if u have a snowmobile u can make a groomer out of wood that u can tow behind.

or you could be like all of us lovely people from norwich,connecticut and race through the streets of the city park

i've managed to blow up a motor every year doin that but mostly because of weight limits two 180# kids on a blaster is just not good
