I had posted a thread about a month or two ago about having problems with my 06 400ex which I found out were my piston and rings were destroyed so now I am putting my quad back to stock but I did get a HMF full exhaust, and I was thinking about getting a stage 2 hotcam but I wanted to know what else I have to do to my motor to compensate for the hotcam, like valves or valve springs? I dont know if its worth doing it or if I'm going to have problems with the cam, just looking for some feedback, thanks.

Stock valves, springs, and rockers are fine with that cam.

You get the full potential of the cam without a higher compression cam.

you mean you dont get the full benefit of a cam without a high compression piston

no prob everyone makes mistakes just didnt want this guy to buy a cam and him not realize the higher compression was really needed
