I think I remeber my cousin using some hair spray or moose or something along those lines to get his grips to stick on his CR.

take a razorblade and make Xs in your handlebars, then use scott grip glue and put them on, let it dry over night then put 3 or 4 wire ties on them.

I spray the inside of the grip with hair spray and put regular super glue on the handle bar. works for me everytime. I doubt coke would work but try it and let us know.

Im gonna get some superglue, and wire it down. Where should i put the wire at?

I just tried rootbeer, it worked for a bit, i couldnt move it at all, and after trying and trying to move it, it broke loose. So thats not gonna work.

The grips should have little grooves to put the wire in. If not just put one on the inside end, one in the middle, and one about a half inch from the outside end if needed.

I don't have spray paint here, I thought i did. I tried the water + dry trick one more time, they have a bit of trouble moving now, and I just found some zipties, works better than wiring imo, and put them on, I took a little ride and wheelied a few times they feel pretty good. Thanks for your help!

Go and get some Spray polyurethane,(minwax is the best in my opinion) spray the inside of the grips real good, slide them on, wipe up any residue, let them set overnight. They will not move. I have been doing this for a couple of years now and I usually have to cut them of with a razor blade.:muscle:

I got them to stick. Here the ****ty part.

I used super glue for one grip, but couldn't get it all the way on due to the fact that it took 5 seconds to fully cure. So some peices of the inside of my grips are ****ed. But, my mom bought this other stuff that takes 10 minutes to an hour to fully cure. Welll, its been past an hour and it worked! Thanks for all your help. :D

I always use that 3m weatherstrip adhesive stuff. It works great for me.

I agree! Spray some on the inside of the grips and they slide on the bars like butter (no wrestling the grips on). My grips were solid with no movement in 10 minutes. This is the easiest most effective way i've used so far although there are many other possibilities as stated in this thread! :D ;)

Use a rough grit sandpaper to scratch the handlebars real good where the grips make contact. Wipe the bars clean and let them dry. Use an airhose to pressurize the inside of the bars from one side while sliding the grip on the other. Do the other side. Wire the grips on with grip tie wire. They will never move. ;)
