250x won,t start still.

Just put a 32mm tm mukuni flat slide carb on my 250x.When i kick it with the gas open,it will fire 3 or 4 times, but will take hold and run. I jacked around with the air screw at different settings and it seemed to fire better as i turned it out.S.W.R.. HELP.:confused:

HEY NEIGHBOR! I JUST POSTED A SIMILAR POST WITH NO REPLIES! I HAVE THE DG KEIHN 38MM CARB, BUT SAME PROBLEM. I'M THINKING OF CHANGING CLIP POSITION, THEN JET TO SEE IF IT HELPS. CHECK YOUR COMPRESSION. LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIGURE IT OUT, I'M GOING CRAZY ON IT! GOOD LUCK!

I havent got to work on mine lately.Im gona take it to jeff Smith in STanford Ky. tomorrow. He really knows Hondas so I hope he can help me out. I'll do the same for you. We'll try to get em runnin and maybe meet up somewhere and ride em .
