Alright, Heres the story.

I just bought a Rossier pipe, put it on and then rode it once. Ran good.

Then I came home, Cleaned the air filter, and changed the cage to let more air through. And left the lid OFF.

Then I put a CRF450 needle in the carb and set it at 4th clip from the top and installed a 160 main jet and a 48 pilot jet.

I was riding on the trails and my quad stalled and was very hesitant to start up. I never thought anything of it. Then I went further, and it stalled and WOULD NOT START. It turned over, and it would fire, but not start!!!!!

So I called for a ride home, and after the 10 minute drive home I pulled the quad off the truck and tried it again. It started up fine, and idle for a few mins and then stalled and would not start again.

ANY HELP??!!

PLEASE!!??

You might have something in your jets or float. Check that.

Whats the best way to do that?

Take the bottom off the carb and clean it out?

If this is an 06 the 48 pilot is to rich . When hot it will not start good if at all. ( sound the same) mine has a 45 in it and it is great. Don,t forget about the air screw.!!!!!!! My 2 cents :D
