View Full Version : Where to get my engine work done?

hey guys wheres a good place in jersey to get my engine work done. im lookin to bore mine out to a 406 with a je 10:6:1 piston and a hotcams stage 1 cam. im getting it done at my dealer as of now but there booked for two weeks so i got some time to figure out if i want to take it there or a shop.

ill talk to my dad for u if u want. he built my motor and it rips(450r).. i live by DHY thats is by philly

yea i know dhy thats like 45 min from me.im in hammonton egg harbor area about half an hour from atlantic city. what did your dad do to your engine?idk i'll have to think about it because i would rather have a dealer do it than somebody's dad no offense. when i said where i could get my engine work done i meant a like a speed/cycle shop that might not charge as much as a dealer labor wise but still do the job correctly.

cam, piston ,valves ,springs,clutch and he ported and polished it.
He does it to dragsters and speed boats for a living.

somtimes man having somones dad do it out of his back yard (figure of speech) is the best way to go.

i agree three trips back to the dealer latter when the original tech was a mmi grad? either you got it or you dont not only that but the left me stranded on the coastal dunes second day into a 7 day trip
