What could I put my chain in to get that rusty look off of it.. its not a old chain.. Could I soak it in something then brush it with a wire brush? If so what do you guys use?

Thanks

I saw a guy at halfmoon one time that put his 450r on a stand kinda thing. He then put it in gear so the back tires spun in the air, and just put a wire brush up to the chain while it spun... I dont know if he put anything on the chain beforehead though.

there was a thread on here like right when ever i first joined(mid 04 i think) and a guy said to take it off and let it soak in a 5 gallon bucket of kerosene.....it had pictures and all and it came out looking brand new, just put it back on and lube it and all of course. but it looked brand new, he did a before and after pic.

hope this helps.

I wouldn't use a wire brush on an o-ring chain.
