Boat question?

For the people out there that have boats. I just bought a I/O boat and took it out for the first time yesterday and it didnt seemed to come up to plan very fast compared to other boats of the same size I have been on. Im new at it and just wondering if i missed something with the trim or something?

running the trim correctly is the most important thing you can do to get a boat to come out of the hole and plane!!
you have to adjust the trim as you accelerate form a dead stop.

what kind of boat is it and what prop do you have on it!

also sometimes you can get seaweed and other crap tangled up ain there which will caus eit to seem slower. to get all the gunk off the prop just pop it in reverse for a second and it will all untangle.
