What gear do you use on starts? With and without cement gates.

Second gear seems way to high, and i dont want to stall once i hit the dirt, i did it in first but everyone one was faster. Now i got 18" klaws, and i was trying to practice out in the field, they just dig down and i almost stall. Do you got any tips for starts??

I don't know about the cement but in the dirt with a stock 13t 2nd pinned and just slip the clutch a little

Stock gearing and 18's? you should be fine in 2nd with a lil clutch slipping.

i dump the clutch in 2nd in dirt starts. with about half throttle.

and on cement half throttle in 1st sumtimes 2nd

start in second always.. just ride the clutch out a little bit past the gate though.. NOT TO MUCH

with klaws on dirt i start second gear pinned on rev limiter and dump the clutch, it bogs but hooks up like crazy and then the revs come up but never looses traction, ive been having good luck with that.... the cement starts i do i run razr's at that track and start 2nd gear half throttle and dump it, when u line up on cement do a little burnout atleast to clean ur tires and cement, the more u burnout the hotter and softer the tread will be so more traction.
