Go to the gun shop and ask, they will fill you in on all rules and regulations.

i feel like a criminal asking about gun laws walkin into a shop

heres some links saying 18, i dunno if its in effect or outdated or anything

i probaly wont carry it, ill just shoot it at the range and what not. id like to carry it while riding my quad but id only pull it if some1 else pulled it on me. i think id let some1 take my quad before i shot them, i cant live my life knowing i killed someone.

does any1 know laws about concealment and what you are and what ur not allowed to do with a gun

The one link is to The Brady Campaign. They are one of the MOST anti-gun groups known. Do not believe anything coming from them. The second is BATF. They deal with Federal law not local. Go to Packing.org or to the NRA and you will get factual info. Please learn the laws concerning firearm ownership prior to purchasing one. Don't become a statistic that the anti-gun crowd can use to further their cause.

I have seen and have almost been killed by stupid kids with glocks!!!
try dropping the slide with your finger in the trigger guard. all most lost a foot that way!!!! but i got a good deal on the gun after i threaded to end his life.

and before that I was going to get a glock when I was 18 and some kid bought it out from under me and took it to the police station to show his friends (cops) his new glock and shot his own hand (in the police station)
Im not saying they are bad guns or any thing but if you dont have training with hand guns a glock is not the best learning gun!!

I traded the glock for a springfield XD
the new XD is 45ACP with 14 rounds!!

the only thing im afraid of the glock is having it holstered loaded, especially riding, i dont want a brand to pull the trigger. i wish they had a safety, if u wanna draw it quick u have the option to turn it off. i just like them because the are smooth and squared, and have good engineering. i like the hk's but i dont like how they arent squared, and i dont like the grip, but they are nice german made guns

I think PA is similar to MI laws when it comes to handguns. You CAN own a pistol at age of 18. You have to purchase it used, dealers wont sell to you if your under 21 because its against thier "policy". Check with your local Police Department, not a dealer. My buddy bought a Glock 23 from his dad the day he turned 18 and registered it with the police department. Always double check with the PD if you are unsure of any firearm laws. Go to the records department, they are the ones that handle pistol permits.

P.S. If you are looking for a great first gun. I would suggest a compact springfield XD. Great gun, more features than glock and has an American grip. The sig and HK are nice too, but way more pricey:D

You could always carry with an empty chamber.

I wouldn't worry about riding with a holstered pistol. You just have to be certain to get a good quality holster. I live in Nevada and we have open carry allowed here. I always have a pistol when out riding in the desert. I have found that a good tactical thigh rig, similar to what the SWAT guys use, is the way to go.
As far as what is the best gun? Personal preference. I own all of the above mentioned and will choose based on need. Find something that feels comfortable in your hand, points easily and you shoot well with.
