hey i bought an 89 250r and the front end was set up for flattrack. it has lonestar 2+ a-arms and suzuki lt 250 shocks. i need some new shocks because when i hit jumps the frame hits the jump, and i need some new front shocks. im on a budget i dont wanna spend much more than 500 bucks but rezzies are a plus. what do u guys think would be good for me. i mx and jump mostly.

What length shock are the a-arms supposed to be used with? You must figure that out first...

Works and elka rec series should both be in or close to your budget. And you will be much happier with either one of those shocks. I think I would take the works with rezzies over the elka rec series with no rezzies.

the 450r front will fit with the same mod as needed on the 400ex. they will need to be revalved and sprung for the plus 2's or you will blow the seals out and bend some washers and other stuff.

if i was going to wait and spend around 750 bucks then wat would be the best for it? would i be better off saving or not?
