450R swingarm on a 400EX?

just wondering if anyone out there has ever swapped a 450R rear swingarm into a 400 EX. Also, is the 450R swingarm longer than the ex's? will all ex suspension and carrier dolt in? thanks for the feedback

I know you can do it the other way around, 400EX swinger on 450R with the 400EX bushings!

I just put a 04 450r swingarm on my 02 ex works great it and appears to be the same length maybe a little narrower in the rear but still works great

What are the advantages to doing this , guys ?

I have the 450 shocks on , and apart from them being a littel too stiff , its really not a bad swop .

I am going to get the " buy a 450 if you want one " answers , but I prefer customizing than to spend plenty $$ more onn the 450 . i dont need all that power , I need all that handling and weight reduction ..

Anyone ?

did you have to do any mods to the EX to make the 450R swingarm work? or just bolt in and go type thing?
