View Full Version : Warrior clutch help!!!

I went and got a new clutch cable for my warrior. I put it on and now my reverse dosn't work, and I can not start it in gear (which drives me crazy). So if any one can help me that would be great.

Both clutch cable and reverse lever have adjustability. Check them with a manual. :D

Where is the adjustment on the reverse?

The rod that connects to the handle and case. It is threaded. Turn it one way to extend the rod and the other to contract it. That will be your adjustment.:D

Also, if all you did was change you clutch cable, then I would mess with it more before adjusting the reverse lever. You may have too much slack or not enough. If you have too much, then the clutch wont pull at it's most. Too little and it wont let the clutches go, causing them to slip. If they start to slip too much, they like to heat up and stick, that could cause PITA things too.
