whats the best way to get the old gaskit off??there is pices stuck to the jug and bottom is there a esy way with out marking it all up?

Answer is..........Very carefully:D

They can be a paqin in the butt to get off, I used a straight razor blade and took my time. Good luck, And if your going high compression get oversized studs.

a putty knife works very well.

i usually use a die grinder with a medium grade scotchbrite pad. fast and easy, but dont put too much pressure on it or else you actually wear the cases and they may not go back together right.

Yep. Razer blade here too. Don't try and "shave" the gasket off (i.e. don't hold the blade at an acute angle to the surface)--more often then not that will lead to cutting into the metal of the gasket surface. Hold the blade at or near 90 degrees to the surface and scrape the gasket material off.

Takes a little practice but once you start getting the technique down it's not too bad. Be patient--it can take some time.

i've always found a PLASTIC putty knife to be handy that way you don't run the risk of damaging the case

Plastic razor blades work awsome. Any body who sells bodyshop supplys has them and there cheap.
